Live, not scrolled
No endless feed. Spaces open for gatherings and close when they end — your time and privacy stays yours.
Not another feed. Qira opens its doors for live gatherings where you walk up to people, see them, hear them and trade the ideas that move us forward — then it closes, so you can get back to life.
Online communities used to be places. We are building one again.
No endless feed. Spaces open for gatherings and close when they end — your time and privacy stays yours.
Walk over, see people, hear their voice. Real conversation, not comment threads.
Frontier thinking, honest debate and ventures born from the right conversation.
Feeds keep you scrolling. Places bring people together.
Hi, I'm Migren, and I'm building Qira.
In the 2000s we had forums. Conversation went both ways. Real communities argued, built on each other's ideas, introduced us to ideas years ahead of their time, and shared a collective memory we still miss. I built forums and online communities myself back then. They were basic, but in the ways that matter they were far ahead of what we have now.
Today we're more isolated than ever, hooked on social content feeds. They're mostly one-way and keep us scrolling for no reason at all, to the point that "brain rot" is now a word everyone knows.
I always wanted an online community that felt like meeting in person, with faces and voices, but the technology of that era couldn't do it. Now it can. Qira is a place where you can walk up to people, join a conversation that's already going, and leave feeling you actually met someone.
So, here we go!
Social links coming soon — the waitlist is the best way to stay close.
